Our carders are custom built in our small shop in Damascus, Oregon in limited quantities and to the highest standards of quality. We currently produce several models of carding machines including 8 and 16 inch hand operated and motorized units.

Hand operated and 8" electric carders have 8" long by 7" diameter large (swift) drums. Our electric production machines have 7" diameter by 16" long large drums.

Dick, Joane and Scott Duncan are the working hands behind Duncan Fiber Enterprises Ltd. After retiring from his career as a Biologist, Dick began building Drum Carders full time. Joane has led spinning workshops for over 30 years in the Northwest and presently teaches at the Damascus Fiber Arts School. Scott shares the work by building parts and assembling carders.
